A water main break has caused a boil water advisory to be issued in part of Picton.
The advisory was issued by the Hastings and Prince Edward Health Unit this afternoon (Wednesday) for an area
northeast of County Road 49 and Spencer Street.
People living in that area should bring water to a rapid boil for at least one minute before using it for domestic purposes.
The water main break has been repaired and service restored to customers northeast of intersection of County Road 49 and Spencer Street. However, a boil advisory remains in effect.
Check the Prince Edward County or Health Unit websites for information.
