An alert City of Belleville worker helped the police arrest a man after a hit and run collision in a west end parking lot early today (Monday)
The collision occurred along Dundas West at 1:30 this morning.
The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene.
Shortly after an equipment operator with the city spotted a vehicle with damage matching the description given in the area of Cannifton Road and East Moira Street.
A 24 year old Cobourg man was arrested and was given a 3 day license suspension for registering a WARN on a breath test. He was also charged with failing to remain among other charges.
