It was a wet one yesterday (Friday) as the Quinte region received a record rainfall.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton 31 millimetres of rain fell.
That was far more than the previous record for a December 21 of 17.4 mm in 1998.
Meanwhile we came close to a high temperature record yesterday as well.
The mercury climbed to 10.1 degrees Celsius yesterday almost beating the 10.6 degree record for the date set in 1967.
