A priority for all three levels of government in 2018 has been making high speed internet accessible to all.
Bay of Quinte MP Neil Ellis says funding announced earlier this year is helping to make that happen.
Ellis says one of his highlights of 2018 was the Constituency Youth Council.
The council consists of local youth between the ages of 15 and 24 who meet several times a year to discuss issues and topics of greatest importance to them.
Ellis is particularly proud of the council’s Spring Toiletries project.
St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School, Quinte Secondary School, Nicholson Catholic College and Marc-Garneau Secondary School participated in the drive.
