Lower Trent Conservation has issued a flood outlook statement ahead of the rain the region is forecasted to get overnight.
Conservation staff say stream flows and levels across the watershed region, which stretches from Grafton to Quinte West and from Lake Ontario to Rice Lake, are average for this time of year and with the rain potential, runoff could cause nuisance flooding.
Temperatures are expected to drop below zero tomorrow night and stay below zero well into next week.
