Two issues are front and centre for the Hastings-Quinte Emergency Services in 2019.
Chief of Emergency Services Doug Socha tells Quinte News he is looking at the call volume issue and specifically the inter-facility non-emergency transfers.
Socha says there will also be a great deal of study on the issue of building a second base facility, possibly in 2020, incorporating what is needed in terms of ambulance storage and other issues in the base design.
