The Belleville Senators are back on the road today to play their final three games before a relatively short Christmas break. And while the B-Sens are still nowhere close to being at full strength they will welcome back 3 key players from the NHL Ottawa Senators.
Captain Erik Burgoerfer and fellow defenceman Stefan Elliott and forward Max McCormick.
McCormick has been with Ottawa since last February but has seen limited action this year scoring one goal in 14 games. McCormick cleared waivers yesterday. In 49 games with Belleville last season he scored 8 goals and 19 assists. His offence will be a welcome addition to a team that has scored just 3 times in their last 4 games.
Belleville is at Rochester tomorrow night before playing back to back in Cleveland Friday and Saturday. These will be the B-Sens first games in franchise history against the Monsters.
