The deadline is fast approaching for the United Way of Hastings Prince Edward’s annual fundraising campaign and there’s still work to be done.
With just 20 days left to go, the United Way HPE has raised 61% of its $2 million goal.
The campaign was bolstered significantly by employees and soldiers at CFB Trenton last week, with Base Commander Colonel Mark Goulden announcing on Friday a donation of $93,000 from 8 Wing, through its workplace campaign.
Campaign organizers are making a last minute rally for support and say it’s not too late to make a donation either online by clicking here, by phone (613-962-9531), or at the United Way HPE office at 55 Harriett Street in Belleville.
The United Way HPE helps to fund dozens of organizations and programs across the region.
