There is a new Chief of Staff at Quinte Health Care.
Dr. Colin MacPherson will take over for Dr. Dick Zoutman.
MacPherson has been the Chief of Staff since April, but was the interim chief.
QHC Board Chair Stuart Wright says they have put the right person in place to oversee the staff at the four hospitals.
CEO Mary Clare Egberts says it is inspiring to see MacPherson’s engagement as a physician, his communication, and accountability in the role as Interim Chief.
MacPherson will remain as the Chief of Psychiatry until a replacement can be found.
He has been in that role since 2012.
