A lot of local politicians will be dressing up especially nicely today as there are several inaugural council meetings today (Monday).
However, an almost brand new Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will be sworn in later today as well.
The inaugural meeting of the new board will be at 7 o’clock at the Ann Street Education Centre in Belleville.
Council inaugural meetings will be held in Belleville, Brighton, Quinte West, Stirling-Rawdon, and Centre Hastings.
Prince Edward County is holding its inaugural meeting tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at the Regent Theatre in downtown Picton, starting at 7 o’clock.
