Motorists will soon be able to travel Belleville’s new Haig Road – Station Street extension.
This $3.1 million project connects the two streets at the north end.
The tender was awarded to Dekeyser Excavating earlier in the year.
Director of Engineering and Development Rod Bovay says work has been held up recently.
A delay in the delivery of the city’s street light order is also a problem.
Bovay expects the street to be opened in December.
