Officials with the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board are stressing that Centennial Secondary School will be open as usual today (Tuesday)
As reported in the Belleville Police release this morning, officers were called to the school yesterday afternoon to deal with an unruly student.
The student yelled out some threats but was soon calmed down and the matter was resolved.
However, some other students posted something involving the incident on social media and it went viral.
Both the police and the school board say there is no threat to the school or students and classes will resume as usual today.
