A car stuck on the CN tracks in Quinte West early Monday night was hit by a VIA Rail train.
The car was hit on the tracks at the Meyers Creek Road crossing.
Luckily, the male inside the car was not seriously injured but was treated on scene for shock.
No one on the train was injured but the crew was shaken and were replaced by another crew.
The eastbound VIA train collided with the car shortly before 7 o’clock.
OPP, paramedics and Quinte West firefighters responded to the scene.
