A speeding stop in Brighton has led to drug trafficking charges against an Oshawa woman.
Northumberland OPP stopped a grey sedan on County Road 30 in Brighton, around 6:30 Friday evening, after it was clocked going 105 km/h in a 60 zone.
An investigation led to charges of trafficking cocaine along with a number of other offences under the Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Auto Insurance Act.
Fifty-three-year-old Darlene Wybenga was held for a show cause hearing on the weekend, then released, with a December 5 court date in Cobourg.
