The United Way of Hastings-Prince Edward wants to follow up Black Friday by reminding you about the importance of giving to those who are the most vulnerable in our community this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday is back for a fifth year, on November 27, where charities, companies and individuals celebrate with a donation to their favourite causes.
Any donation to the United Way on Tuesday will enter you into a draw for a $100 iTunes gift card.
As examples, United Way HPE says $20 per week could provide enough wood or oil to heat a home for the entire winter, or provide enough baby formula for a whole year.
A single donation of $150 could provide a family of four with groceries for a week, or a warm coat for someone in need.
