It was quite a mess for a while on Belleville’s busy North Front Street early last (Tuesday) evening.
City police report that a driver trying to change lanes slammed into the back end of a vehicle stopped on North Front near Tracey Street which caused a chain reaction collision involving another two vehicles.
The crash occurred shortly after 7 o’clock.
Paramedics treated several people at the scene and two of the four vehicles had to be towed away.
A 29-year-old man from Simcoe was charged with careless driving.
