The Belleville Senators have four road games over the next eight nights, and it begins Tuesday night in Charlotte.
They arrived by plane on Monday, just one of two trips in the regular season requiring air transportation (Manitoba Moose).
The Checkers come into the back to backs against Belleville, as the top team in the AHL, while Belleville is one game below 500.
They are 2-4 on the road. Belleville Head Coach Troy Mann says they have 12 games of the next 16 away from CAA Arena, meaning they need to get to work.
Mann says their recent home efforts mean the lineup will stay mostly in tact.
The road trip will also see the Sens head to Utica and Laval.
The next two games in Charlotte will see broadcast times of 6:50 pm on CJBQ with Eastern Overhead Doors and Deerhaven Farm and Gardens.
