The developer of a proposed Belleville subdivision isn’t saying much after its land lease housing proposal was shot down by Belleville City Council on Tuesday.
Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities had proposed a 283-unit subdivision on 21 hectares of land, at Farnham Road and Scott Drive, but it was rejected over concerns about cost increases.
A Parkbridge spokesperson tells Quinte News the developer is “disappointed in the council decision and is assessing its next steps”.
The company has a limited amount of time to appeal the decision with the Local Planning Appeal Authority.
