Belleville Sports Hall of Fame inductee Kenzo Dozono has been appointed chairman of the Technical Committee of the Ontario Karate Federation.
The highly decorated Dozono, an 8th degree black belt, assumes an important responsibility since Karate has been named an official game for the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Sensei Dozono operates the S.K.I. International Karate School in Belleville.
The Ontario Karate Federation represents all styles of Karate in Ontario.
