The fire chief in Tyendinaga Township says an investigation into a fire that destroyed a home on Shannonville Road Wednesday afternoon is still ongoing.
Fire Chief James Oliver tells Quinte News they’re not sure what sparked the blaze, around 2 p.m. on Shannonville Road near Raglan Road, but damage is estimated in the $250,000 to $300,000 range.
There is a bit of good news though, as Oliver says all three men who were taken to hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation were released and have no further injuries.
Oliver says the investigation will likely continue the rest of Thursday and into Friday.
