The Ontario government’s commitment to making the province “open for business” will be the subject of an announcement Monday morning in Belleville.
Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith will be talking about the Conservative government’s promise through Bill 47 (the “Open for Business Act”) to create more, better-paying jobs and make it easier for apprentices to join the work force.
Smith talked to Quinte News about the importance of “unleashing some of the potential in our skilled trades sector” and ensuring bigger numbers in the trades.
Smith will be joined by host and president of Hilden Homes Eric DenOuden, Executive Officer of Quinte Home Builders Association Ruth Estwick and members of the community for the announcement.
It will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Mercedes Meadows, a new subdivision off Haig Road at 26 Mercedes Drive in Belleville.
