We have a new rainfall record for a November 1 in the Quinte region.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton, 26.1 millimetres of
rain fell on the area Thursday.
That eclipsed the previous record rain for the date of 25 mm set in 1997.
Meanwhile, last month was near average for an October in this area as far as temperature and precipitation was
concerned.
