A new event is aiming to bring some artistic attraction to a local non-profit.
Hues for Hospice is the latest fundraiser for Hospice Quinte and Michael Kelly, Donor Relations Specialist says this event is to honour one of their long time donors.
Ruth E. Pascoe was a patient under Hospice Quinte and her husband is still a supporter, over a decade later.
The event involves 14 local artists that are showcasing their work at the event, while also donating a piece each for the silent auction.
The event also features live music, cocktails and hors d’oevres.
All funds raised at Hues for Hospice will remain in the community to support providing free hospice palliative care and bereavement services in the Quinte region.
Hues for Hospice is set for December 2 from 3-7 p.m. at the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club.
Tickets are $40 each and available at the Hospice Quinte website, office and at the door.
