Fire destroyed a large 2 storey house near Rice Lake last (Tuesday) night.
According to Today’s Northumberland, Alnwick/Haldimand fire crews responded to a residence on
Dunnette Landing road shortly before 9 o’clock.
Five people managed to escape the burning home safely.
The cause and damage estimate are unknown.
