One night after putting up 11 goals on home ice, the Wellington Dukes took their act on the road and came up just short, losing 4-3 in Toronto to the Patriots.
Elijah Gonsalves scored for his seventh point in his last two games, other tallies went to Adam Usinger and Dawson Ellis.
Olivier Lafreniere stopped 25 in the loss.
The Dukes have a short turnaround to finish off a busy weekend, they welcome the Lindsay Muskies to Lehigh Arena for a 1:30 p.m. start Sunday afternoon.
Also, the Trenton Golden Hawks are on the road visiting the Whitby Fury at 2 p.m.
Meantime in provincial Junior C, the Picton Pirates romped the Campbellford Rebels 8-1.
Griffin Conger paced Picton’s offence with four points.
The Pirates are in action this afternoon as well, visiting the Clarington Eagles at 5:20 p.m., while the Napanee Raiders are in Gananoque at 7.
