A good start didn’t translate into a good finish for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Cameron Gaylor gave Trenton a 1-0 lead on the power play mid way in the first period but that would be the end of the Hawks offence as they fell 4-1 to the Pickering Panthers. Trenton outshot Pickering 38-28 but see their five game unbeaten streak come to an end.
The Golden Hawks are in Kingston Thursday night then host Mississauga on Friday.
