A Tweed man was charged with a weapons offence and other charges after someone complained about being threatened by a man carrying a firearm.
Central Hastings OPP were called to a residence by someone who was hiding inside a house after it was alleged a man with a weapon tried to start a fight outside.
OPP patrolled the village last Friday and arrested 25-year-old Joseph Parks.
He was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and adult firearm-use while committing an offence.
He is in for a bail hearing today (Monday).
