The work and dedication of the management and staff at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home in Picton has been recognized.
The long term care home, located in Picton, has received a three-year accreditation for quality service from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities Canada (CARF).
The accreditation means the facility is eligible for a little more funding from the provincial government.
The accreditation process focuses on several areas including leadership, planning, health and safety, and performance measurement and management.
