The Wellington Dukes picked up a well deserved 3-0 road victory in Aurora over the Tigers, backed by a 28-save shutout from Olivier Lafreniere.
Tim Fallowfield scored his first goal as a Duke on a powerplay late in the second period and it stood as the game-winner. Other goals came from Andrew Rinaldi and Tyson Gilmour.
Elijah Gonsalves assisted on all three Wellington goals.
The Dukes finish off a busy Thanksgiving weekend with a game against the Toronto Jr. Canadians at 7:15 p.m. Sunday.
Also, the Trenton Golden Hawks are in action at home, playing the Brampton Admirals at 7 p.m.
Pirates slip by Knights, Rebels blown away in Jr. C action
The other Prince Edward County junior team had a successful night away from home as well on Saturday.
The Picton Pirates slipped by the North Kawartha Knights 4-3 thanks to a three-point night from Landon McLellan.
Brennan Bush got the win in net, making 39 saves.
Meantime, the Campbellford Rebels dropped a 9-2 decision to the Lakefield Chiefs.
Jacob Yohn and Mathieu Piazzi scored for Campbellford.
