The three-year contract includes a 1.4% increase in 2018, a 1.6% increase for 2019, and a 1.75% increase in 2020.
There are also some improvements to vision care and dental plan benefits.
A number of language changes have been implemented as well, to strengthen and clarify provisions of sick leave and long-term disability.
The total number of sick leave and personal days remains the same, however, one sick leave day was converted to a personal day to allow staff more options to make time for family, or for personal commitments.
The Hastings Prince Edward Board of Health approved a collective agreement with its nurses, during a closed session of its meeting Wednesday.
The three-year contract is effective as of January 1, 2018.
