A Whitby man has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in relation to a string of bank robberies, including one in Belleville.
Zak Bayfield was charged in March of 2016 after letting off a gunshot at the former Quinte Secondary School, then holding up a downtown RBC bank.
Bayfield also pleaded guilty to some of his charges in relation to bank robberies in the Greater Toronto Area.
A sentencing hearing has been set for October 26.
Four weeks had been set aside for a trial which was to begin October 15, but that will no longer be necessary.
