Property owners along the shoreline of the Quinte Conservation watershed should be ready for water levels to start changing, with the annual fall dam drop on the way.
QC will be removing stop logs in the Moira and Napanee Regions on Tuesdsay, leading to changing water levels above and below the following water control structures.
- Skootamatta Lake Dam
- Downey’s Rapids Weir below Moira Lake
- Caton’s Weir below Stoco Lake
- Lingham Lake Dam
- Deerock Lake Dam
- Upper Arden Dam
- Middle Arden Dam
- O’Hara Mill Dam
- Laraby Rapids Dam
- Varty Lake Dam
- James Lazier Dam
- Bellrock Dam
- 13 Island Lake Dam
- Second Depot Lake Dam
- Third Depot Lake Dam
If you have property upstream from any of those structures, which are listed at quintenews.com, you can expect water levels to drop to normal fall levels and should have all boats and floating docks removed by this coming Monday.
