On June 7/8 the District A Road Supervisors held a tradeshow at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. This event was open to all Road Supervisors and staff in Ontario and it only is held in this region once every 9 years. More than 2,000 people attended, making it a very successful event.
On that note, they decided to donate $5000 to each hospital in their district, a total of seven beneficiaries in addition to the Field of Ability.
Here Wendy Warner is accepting $5000 for the CT Scanner campaign at Trenton Memorial Hospital. The CT Scanner is anticipated to cost more than $1.3 million. It will have better image quality, faster scan times, less radiation for the patients and overall improve the ability of the radiologists to diagnose and treat their patients. More than 6,000 scans are done at TMH each year.
