The numbers of students attending Loyalist College is the highest in 15 years.
Thursday the college’s Board of Directors heard that 3,285 students had registered at Loyalist for this school year, a 14 percent increase from last year.
The President, Ann Marie Vaughan, said the high numbers were due to new programs, greater retention of students and increases in the number of foreign students.
There were 814 foreign students enrolled this year, up almost 135 percent from last year.
