Search and Rescue Technicians from 8 Wing Trenton’s 424 Squadron came to the aid of a sick hunter in a remote area of northern Quebec yesterday.
The SAR Techs parachuted from a Hercules aircraft through a narrow peninsula, landing safely in a very rocky area.
They were able to help the man and then load him on to a boat for transport to a local nursing station.
The hunter was in good condition.
Quebec police requested the assistance of 424 Squadron.
