Hospice Quinte, which offers support to terminally ill people, and their caregivers, is on the move.
Over the past year Hospice Quinte has been renting extra space in the community to accommodate some of its work.
But, as executive director Jennifer May-Anderson says, more space was needed.

The agency is moving in to the Bayview Mall where it will have room for the office and for the various group meeting spaces.
May-Anderson says another advantage is the parking space and it’s on a bus route.
Hospice Quinte opens its new office October 1 with an Open House scheduled for October 25.
Hospice Quinte assists terminally ill individuals and their caregivers by offering them support and companionship. Visiting hospice services are offered in the person’s own home, long term care homes, retirement homes and both Belleville General and Trenton Memorial Hospitals. Bereavement support groups are also offered.
There are no fees for services to patients and their families. Hospice Quinte is a registered, non-profit charity whose volunteers are the heart of the organization.
The Hospice Quinte service area includes Quinte West, Belleville, Deseronto, Tyendinaga Township and the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. To find out more you can visit HospiceQuinte.ca.
