The new season is set for the Trenton Golden Hawks.
The Quinte West club opens the season Friday at home against the Whitby Fury.
There are only a handful of returning players, however lots of the new acquisitions are veterans in junior hockey.
Returning players Tiger McDonald and Steven Elliott, and Tyler Ignazzito from the Napanee Raiders will serve as assistant captains.
New Head Coach Thomas Milne says his captain is Peter Falivena is well respected and comes with a lot of experience.
So what will the 2018-19 Golden Hawks look like on the ice? Milne says the team has great depth.
Puck drop at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens is 7:30 p.m.
