A trial date has been set in the case against a former Belleville tattoo artist.
Kenneth Wayne Melvin was charged in April 2017 with more than 30 counts including child pornography, sexual assault, unlawful confinement and criminal harassment.
The Crown has since withdrawn 11 of those charges.
Defence attorney Mike Pretsell appeared in Superior Court today in front of Justice Patrick Hurley.
He says a three week trial has been set for May 2019.
Melvin was charged following multiple complaints from people about being sexually assaulted during appointments at his now closed tattoo and piercing shop on Dundas Street East.
