There is some good news regarding the quality of water in Oak Lake in Quinte West.
Residents living on the lake sounded the alarm after there was a large spill of pig manure in the lake in February.
However, water test results done by the Ministry of Environment in the spring showed no immediate cause for concern.
The Ministry will conduct more testing this month , as will consultants working for the City of Quinte West.
A final report is expected in the summer of next year.
Residents around Oak Lake are concerned about drainage and erosion affecting the quality of their drinking water.
