A partnership between Quinte West and Belleville has resulted in a safer intersection for commuters.
Friday morning, municipal staff and mayors were on hand, for the ceremonial opening of the traffic lights at Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Hamilton Road.
Belleville Mayor Taso Christopher says safety was the reason this project went through.
Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison says this was all about safety.
