6:15 am UPDATE: ONE LANE OPEN TO TRAFFIC
Highway 401 eastbound at Napanee is closed after a collision involving a tractor trailer and a car.
A tractor trailer left the highway with another vehicle hitting a guard rail as a consequence around 4:30 this (Thursday) morning.
OPP, Napanee fire and ambulance crews are on scene.
There were injuries and the transport driver was taken to Kingston General.
The truck was carrying non-hazardous material but is leaking diesel fuel into a nearby creek.
It’s not known when the 401 eastbound at Napanee will reopen.
