Water and sewer problems at a west end Belleville apartment building forced residents to be evacuated late Sunday afternoon.
A city transit bus was called in to move the residents of a small older apartment building at 54 Sidney Street.
Belleville firefighters, public works personnel and Veridian crews responded to make repairs.
It’s not known how long residents will have to remain away from their apartments.
