A well-known City of Belleville councillor has decided to not run in this October’s local election.
Mike Graham, first elected to council in 2014, announced his decision to withdraw his name Tuesday morning.
Graham tells Quinte News it was “a very difficult decision” but he has had “some health issues.”
Graham is proud of the current council’s accomplishments and will complete this term on council.
Prior to sitting on council, Graham was employed with the Belleville Police Service, retiring as an Inspector in 2013.
