Organizers of the annual Hike for Hospice are picking up the pace.
Quinte Hospice is hosting this event for the eighth year in the hopes of raising $10,000.
Michael Kelly, Donor Relations Specialist, says this event is a community event.
This hike is set for Sept. 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m at Riverside Park.
Kelly says there will be lots to do that day for the whole family.
All funds raised will be used to fund hospice palliative care and bereavement support services in the Quinte region.
People can register online at hospicequinte.ca, or pick up pledge forms at their office at 225 Dundas Street East.
