The Municipality of Brighton issued 10 building permits last month.
The cost of the permits comes in at over $4 million, bringing their total for the year to $17.6 million.
The permits issued brings the total for the year so far up to 40, which is down from last year at this time, when there had been 71 building permits issued.
At this time last year over $24 million for building permits had been issued.
In Quinte West, single family dwellings made up the majority of new construction last month.
Building permits were issued for 84 projects with a total construction cost of approximately $6.7 million.
This brings the number of permits issued in Quinte West to 510 so far this year, with a construction value of $51.8 million.
At this time last year there had been 548 permits issued with a construction value of $74.8 million.
