The blue flag is now flying high at the Trent Port Marina.
The eco-certification from the group Environmental Defence has been designated to the marina in Quinte West, and was put up the pole at the end of June.
Kelsey Scarfone is a Project Manager with the company, and says the Trent Port Marina is one of only nine marinas across Canada with the designation and one of only four marinas in Ontario.
She adds that it is an annual designation.
