There will be simulated gunfire at the Loch Sloy airfield, formerly Camp Picton, in Prince Edward County, for the next two weeks.
The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment will be conducting army training beginning today until July 20.
The training will take place all hours of the day and night.
During this training, there will be equipment used that may simulate gunshots or explosions.
The Regiment wants the public to know blank ammunition may sound like gunshots, training grenades will cause a small explosion and smoke grenades will cause a small amount of smoke.
This training is required of members of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment to become qualified army reserve infantry soldiers.
