The City of Quinte West issued a lot more building permits last month, compared to June 2017, but their value wasn’t quite as high.
One hundred and thirty permits were issued last month valuing just over $13.7 million.
That’s about $1.2 million less than value of 84 permits issued in June 2017.
Thirty-six of the permits issued last month were for new residential builds.
To date, the city has issued 426 permits, valued at almost $52 million dollars, compared with 455 permits valued a about $58 million, through the first six months of last year.
