Quinte Health Care’s staff and management is pleased with its results on wait times for certain medical procedures in the past year.
At a meeting of the QHC Board of Directors Tuesday, President Mary Clare Egberts presented a “balanced scorecard” report showing the staff met performance targets in most areas.
And while admitting there’s still work to be done to improve service in Belleville General Hospital’s emergency department Egberts said patient satisfaction numbers are up 10% even though the emergency department has been over capacity at times in the past months.
And there’s more positive news.
Quinte Health Care ended its fiscal year with a small $127,000 surplus.
