A motion was passed Monday night to hire a new manager of planning and manager of public works.
Brighton recently lost both its planner, Steve Ashton, and director of public works Richard Sparham.
CAO Bill Watson is still on approved leave, according to Mayor Mark Walas, so the hiring will be done by Pesce & Associates, Human Resources firm out of Toronto.
